The hare of Durer's work is the most famous object of Albertina. Already in the 16th century and especially around 1600 there were many repetitions and imitations. Today there are thirteen, including three free options. In February 2016, as a motive, the hare was used to coinage an Austrian collectible coin at 5 euros.
